For this assignment, students will read a biography about a president. Please see the Destiny catalog to view available titles. Select the "Visual" tab on the Destiny catalog home page. To access the Fiat Library Destiny card catalog, select the "Fiat Library" link from the Ancillae homepage.
In addition to reading a biography, students can also use the Fiat Library databases to research their president. The databases can be accessed from the Destiny catalog home page. Recommended databases are: Encyclopedia Britannica / Comptons, Grolier's New Book of Knowledge and World Book for Kids. Graphics may be downloaded. Please e-mail Mrs. Zajko for the user name and password and include your child's name in the e-mail.

Presidents of the United States (POTUS) - This site from the Internet Public Library includes detailed information on presidential administrations; not much biographical information. Be aware of advertising on the right side of the page.
Presidents of the United States - This is the official White House site that provides biographical information fon presidents for young readers.
